Qatar Airways Expands UK and Ireland Flights for Summer as Global Network Rebuild Continues
Qatar Airways is boosting capacity on key UK and Ireland routes this summer, offering travellers more connections to destinations across Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Australasia through its Doha hub.
The airline has announced increased frequencies from London, Edinburgh and Dublin as it continues to restore and expand its worldwide network.
More Flights from London Heathrow and Gatwick
London Heathrow will see a significant increase in services, with Qatar Airways raising its schedule from 42 to 49 flights per week. The additional frequencies will provide passengers with greater flexibility and improved connections via Doha's Hamad International Airport.
Meanwhile, London Gatwick services are also being expanded, with the airline increasing operations from four weekly flights to a daily service, bringing the total to seven flights each week.
Edinburgh and Dublin Capacity Rises
Scottish travellers are set to benefit from a major boost in connectivity, with flights between Edinburgh and Doha doubling from seven to 14 weekly departures.
In Ireland, Qatar Airways is increasing services from Dublin from 14 to 17 flights per week, strengthening links between Ireland and the airline's extensive international network.
Manchester and Birmingham Services Maintained
The carrier will continue to operate 21 weekly flights from Manchester, maintaining its strong presence in northern England, while Birmingham passengers will retain access to seven flights per week to Doha.
The expanded schedule means travellers across the UK and Ireland will have more opportunities to connect seamlessly to destinations throughout Asia, the Indian Ocean, Africa and Australia.
Global Network Restored to More Than 160 Destinations
Qatar Airways has rebuilt much of its international network from its hub at Hamad International Airport in Doha, with services now reaching more than 160 destinations worldwide.
The airline has also resumed operations to 41 destinations across Europe, underlining the continued recovery and expansion of its global route network.
With increased frequencies from major UK and Irish airports, Qatar Airways is positioning itself to meet strong demand for long-haul travel this summer, giving passengers more choice and improved connectivity to destinations around the world.
