Open since May 2010, the impressive seaside Dunes Course is the first signature golf course in Greece, designed by two-time US Masters Champion and former Ryder Cup Captain Bernhard Langer in association with European Golf Design. This championship course, set in a diverse natural landscape beside The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort and The Westin Resort Costa Navarino, offers spectacular sea and river views and incorporates some links-style features in areas closest to the sea. Parts of the course venture into olive and fruit groves, while some holes run along a small river – the Sellas – which meanders through the site. Combined with large undulating greens, wide fairways and steep-faced pot bunkers, the links element of the course adds to its unique style and playability.
A World-Class Golf Course in Greece
The Dunes Course has been designed to provide an exciting challenge for all golfers. Each of the 18 holes has multiple sets of tees to allow players to select the course length that best suits their game. The par-71 course measures 6,581 yards from the back tees. Generously wide fairways and large greens make good targets that will be appreciated by golfers. Much of the course has been crafted to reflect the rugged outlines of the distant mountains. As you move further inland, the course unfolds, its character softening to fit with the surroundings of olive and citrus groves. Open since October 2011, the 18-hole, 71 par seaside Bay Course at Navarino Bay, designed by Robert Trent Jones II, provides both a fun experience and a challenging test for golfers of all levels. Just a few minutes from Navarino Dunes, at the Navarino Bay development, the Bay Course offers an alternative set of challenges and choices in a quite different setting.
With the majority of tees offering sublime sea views and two holes playing along the historic Bay of Navarino, the course plays a little shorter than The Dunes Course at 5,614 metres from the back tees and meanders through three distinct natural landscapes. The Seaside, Canyon, and Grove holes provide striking contrasts that create a dramatic and memorable golf round.
Seaside
Golfers experience four different Seaside greens framed by a scenic backdrop of the tranquil waters of the Bay of Navarino. The bay’s natural beauty is showcased on hole #4, a short and strategic par 4 directly fronting the bay with the town of Pylos visible in the background. This challenging hole offers tremendous visual appeal.
Canyon
On The Bay Course’s numerous Canyon holes, golfers play from elevated tees and pursue their drives into and through box canyons as the course switches inland from the sea. These holes feel more intimate than the Seaside holes and offer very different views and a greater variety of strategic options.
Grove
More than 1,000 mature olive trees – some more than 500 years old – were saved during the construction of the course and transplanted along the perimeter. The Grove holes meander through this treed landscape, providing distinctive mountain views in striking contrast to the Seaside and Canyon holes.

Navarino Hills is home to the first International Olympic Academy Golf Course in the world. Situated over 125 hectares overlooking the historic Bay of Navarino and the Ionian Sea.
The International Olympic Academy Golf Course measures 6,366m in length.
The second new golf course at Navarino Hills, The Hills Course, plays to par 72 and measures 6,280m in length.
Alongside the two courses is The Hills Clubhouse. Designed by acclaimed architect Lubomír Zeman and built using local stone materials, the 2,500m² clubhouse has been created with the aim of achieving class A+ in energy efficiency and features photovoltaic panels.
The Hills Clubhouse is also home to Piqantro – restaurant, cafe, and bar, a place that celebrates contemporary Iberian/Western Mediterranean cuisine. Rooted in the classics and drawing on heritage recipes, the cuisine will nevertheless be embracing modern influences as well, offering a more inclusive variety of selections, including healthier, plant based options that refuse to compromise on flavor.
